Escambia County Parks and Recreation is excited to host the SEC Soccer Championship at the Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Complex from Oct. 30-Nov. 6. During the week-long event, the top 10 women’s soccer teams will compete for the championship title. Learn more about the SEC Soccer Championship here.
"It's an honor to host the SEC Soccer Championship here in Escambia County," said Parks and Recreation Director Michael Rhodes. "I'm extremely proud of our staff, who has been working hard to get the soccer complex ready in time for the SEC conference, players and friends. This is a phenomenal partnership with Pensacola Sports and the SEC, and we look forward to working with them in the future."
During the SEC championship, the dog park at Ashton Brosnaham Park will be closed to the public. The dog park will re-open on Monday, Nov. 7. Residents with dogs are encouraged to visit the Beulah Regional Park, located at 7820 Mobile Highway; Regency Park, located at 8245 Fathom Road; or Santa Maria Plaza, located at 199 Madrid Road.
