During this time, Chavers Construction, Inc. will install sidewalks within the south right-of-way along Jackson Street from 65th to 75th avenues.
The Jackson Street Sidewalk Project consists of clearing and grubbing, mailbox replacement, grading, excavation and installation of approximately 1,930 linear feet of sidewalk, utility adjustments, driveway approach replacement, access ramps, valley gutter, striping and sod. Work will take place Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. and is expected to be completed within 150 days, weather permitting. Due to road closures between 65th and 69th avenues, detours will be in place along 57th, 65th and 69th avenues as these roads will have signals in place for controlled traffic.
Areas that are impacted during construction will be returned to their previous state. Access to adjacent properties will be maintained, although there may be short periods where a driveway or entrance is temporarily blocked during construction.
