Small business owners and suppliers are invited to connect at the Pensacola Supplier Diversity Exchange on Thursday, Sept. 22, a free event featuring opportunities to market goods and services directly with local and state buyers.
The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center, located at 913 S. I St. in Pensacola. Hosted by the City of Pensacola, Gulf Coast Minority Chamber of Commerce and the Office of Supplier Diversity,
the event will include panel discussions and networking opportunities. The Escambia County Purchasing Office will also be available to answer questions and share more information on registering as a vendor with the county.
Although the event is free, attendees must register online to reserve a spot. More information and registration is available at PensacolaExchange2022.eventbrite.com.
Panel discussions will take place from 9-11:45 a.m. and feature an overview of working with local, state and federal agencies, as well as a small business spotlight. The business exchange will take place from 1-3 p.m. and will feature over 20 state
and local agencies available for networking. Local food trucks will be available on-site for lunch.
Florida-based women, veteran and minority-owned small businesses are encouraged to attend. Participants should bring business cards or information
to share with entities and business owners during networking sessions.
