During this time, construction crews will be installing new force main and sewer in the neighborhood. Traffic will be detoured to Nine Mile Road.
This is expected to be a two-month long project with roads reopened by Nov. 13. If other roadway closures are necessary or the completion date is extended, another notice will be issued.
A formal Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Plan was submitted and approved by the Escambia County Transportation and Traffic Operations Division on Sept. 12, 2022. Ryan Rice, ACME Barricade’s representative, was responsible for submittal of the approved MOT Plan and has a valid certificate for Advanced MOT training.
