Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) is pleased to recognize Mr. Willie Carter, a professional bus operator, for over 47 years of service to Escambia County. In celebration of Mr. Carter's service and Black History Month, ECAT is dedicating a bus wrap in his honor. Local media outlets are welcome to attend and cover the dedication ceremony.

Mr. Willie Carter has worked as a professional bus operator since 1974. He is ECAT's longest serving bus operator and has a true passion for the job. Despite his long tenure, he has no desire to quit any time soon. His driving record and reputation are impeccable.
