Bridlewood Road Closures to Begin Dec. 7, 2021

Published Nov 30, 2021
Beginning Dec. 7, 2021 at 8 a.m., Bridlewood Road between Fort Deposit Road and Bridlewood Lane will be closed to through traffic. Closures are necessary to allow for construction to take place. Construction will consist of one water main tap and three open-cut utility crossings.

Traffic will be detoured along Frank Reeder Road, Rebel Road and Suwanee Road. The detour is expected to remain in effect until Dec. 11, 2021, at which time the roads will be clear for all traffic to pass through. If other roadway closures are necessary, another notice will be issued.

A formal Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Plan was submitted and approved by the Escambia County Engineering Department. James Arnette, Green Energy Contracting, was responsible for submittal of the approved MOT Plan and has a valid certificate for Advanced MOT training.

Please contact Derek Doughty at 850-293-4274 or Jason Walters, Engineering Specialist, at 850-595-3422 with any questions/comments or if further assistance is necessary regarding this notice.
