Pensacola Beach Traffic Pattern for this Weekend

Due to the closure of the Pensacola Bay Bridge, traffic exiting Pensacola Beach is expected to be heavier traveling eastbound toward the Garcon Point Bridge this weekend. In order to mitigate traffic congestion, on March 6 and 7 from 1 to 7 p.m., cones will be placed on S.R. 30/U.S. 98 prior to the S.R. 399 flyover for eastbound traffic. These cones will direct vehicles to the left lane while beach traffic will be directed into the right lane of S.R. 30/U.S. 98.

Public Safety encourages residents and visitors to follow all Pensacola Beach rules and exercise caution when visiting the beach and swimming in the Gulf, especially when lifeguards are not present:
