SBA Temporarily Closing Escambia County Business Recovery Center Through Nov. 4

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced it is temporarily closing the Business Recovery Center located in the East Pensacola Heights Clubhouse in Pensacola. The Center closed for SBA disaster assistance at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, and will reopen to resume its regular operations at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5. The facility will be used as a polling place for the election. 

Businesses needing face-to face assistance can visit SBA’s Business Recovery Center at the Bridgeway Center, 205 Shell Ave., in Fort Walton Beach. 

In accordance with precautions for COVID-19, the SBA established protocols to help protect the health and safety of the public. Visitors to the BRCs are encouraged to wear a face mask. The Centers are located as indicated below and will operate until further notice.

Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via the SBA’s secure website at https://DisasterLoanAssistance.sba.gov/

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is Dec. 1, 2020. The deadline to return economic injury applications is July 2, 2021
