Escambia County is offering two free after school programs for youth starting this fall at the Brownsville and Ebonwood Community Centers, providing a stimulating environment for students five days a week.
Play, Learn, Grow at Brownsville Community Center
The Play, Learn, Grow After School Program provides youth grades K-12 the opportunity to participate in educational, cultural, sports, and community enrichment programs. Program provides homework assistance, tutoring, project based activities, and snacks; while following CDC, state and local guidelines. Virtual tutoring is available for individuals who wish to stay home. The program begins Tuesday, Sep. 8, 2020.
- When: Mondays-Fridays, 2:30-5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sep. 8
- Where: Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto St., Pensacola
- Cost: FREE
- Registration: Open through the end of the school year, limited space available for low occupancy

The Youth Connection at Ebonwood Community Center
The Youth Connection provides youth ages 6-18 the opportunity to participate in education, cultural, sports, and community enrichment programs; to build confidence and self-esteem; to encourage our youth to say "NO" to gangs, drugs, and violence; and "YES" to hope, learning and life. The program begins Tuesday, Sep. 8, 2020.

- Cost: FREE
- Registration: Open through the end of the school year, limited space available for low occupancy
