The ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of West Gonzalez Street and Shoemaker Street, behind the Brownsville Community Center. Parking is available at the Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto Street.
The completed project provides an exercise equipment area, which will create a healthy option for Brownsville residents, along with more than 2,960 lineal feet of pedestrian sidewalks, which will improve walkability in the neighborhood.
