The public is invited to join Escambia County for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the completion of the Brownsville Sidewalks and Playground Project, Thursday, Sept. 26.
The ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of West Gonzalez Street and Shoemaker Streets, behind the Brownsville Community Center. Parking is available at the Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto Street.
The completed Brownsville Sidewalks and Playground Project provides a new playground and exercise area, over 2,960 lineal feet of pedestrian sidewalks, which will improve walkability in the neighborhood.
