Portions of East Olive Road will experience closures and detours beginning Monday, Jan. 16 and ending Friday, Jan. 20. Detours will begin at approximately 9:30 a.m. and end at approximately 3:15 p.m. each day to help reduce delays from school or rush hour traffic.
Closures and detours will vary each day according to the construction schedule, starting at the Treetop Terrace intersection through just west of the Meadowrun Apartments, just west of the Lode Star Drive intersection, west of the Charter Oaks Drive intersection and extending to the east side of Chaparral Drive. Detour routes will go through the Kipling Street and Charter Oaks subdivision south of Olive Road, and through Yancey Lane, Caminitti Lane, or Lode Star Avenue north of Olive Road to East Johnson Avenue, as daily detour routes are adjusted.
If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time periods, another notice will be issued.
