This closed landfill is a partnership with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Florida Department of Education
FWC has contracted with the Panhandle Bow Hunters Association to manage the day-to-day operations of the park
Through the Department of Education, the park offers the National Archery in Schools Program. The program teaches international-style target archery in physical education classes for grades 4-12. Before presenting the two-week archery course, teachers undergo an eight hour NASP Basic Archery Instructor Training Program.
