Stillbridge Drainage, Retention Pond, and Resurfacing Project
Stillbridge Subdivision, located east of University Parkway, is approximately 1500 feet south of U.S. 90A /Nine Mile Road. This project was developed to verify the performance of the existing stormwater control system, recommend and design improvements to mitigate and reduce the impacts of significant rainfall events on this neighborhood. Stillbridge Lane and the associated cul-de-sacs were resurfaced.
Phase I of the project involved the construction of an underdrain and stormwater conveyance system to relieve the chronic high-groundwater problem in the subdivision. Sidewalk connections to the existing school bus stops were also added during this phase.
Phase II is began in February 2020 after the remaining stormwater infrastructure was placed and involved road resurfacing through the County's Resurfacing Program.
