Gibson Road Bridge #484309 Replacement over Alligator Creek

The Gibson Road Bridge #484309 Replacement project is located over Alligator Creek in District 5, west of US 29, approximately 8.8 miles northwest of Molino. The existing and functionally obsolete bridge has been reduced to one lane of traffic. The proposed 102’-1/2” long x 37’-7” wide replacement bridge will restore the two lanes of traffic. The bridge will be a three-span continuous flat-slab concrete structure. Associated roadway improvements on Gibson Road include two 15’ approach slabs, slope protections, drainage improvements, and guardrail improvements. Traffic control will include closing Gibson Road for the duration of the project under a local detour.
