Ensley CRA Street Light Project

On October 20, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners adopted a Community Redevelopment Plan for the Ensley CRA District. One of the identified weaknesses in the short term needs for the community was roadway street lighting. The street lighting improves pedestrian and traffic safety along with illuminating dark spots to increase safety and reduce crime. The project is funded through the Escambia County Neighborhood Enterprise Division utilizing a Federal Community Development Block Grant.
