The Brownsville Business Incubator Project is intended to design a facility that will revitalize and enhance the quality of life within the immediate area by encouraging private sector reinvestment that promotes economic development. Designs are anticipated to include an approximately 6,000 square foot storefront-type building for retail or office use, along with associated parking spaces and stormwater facilities. These retail spaces will support local entrepreneurs in starting and establishing new businesses. Planning, design, and permitting of the Brownsville Business Incubator project was funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of the Treasury under the RESTORE Act Direct Component Program.
