Reminder: Escambia County to Host Boating Safety Symposium May 11

Escambia County and the Marine Advisory Committee invite the community to the Boating Safety Symposium tonight, May 11 to learn more about ways to improve safety on local waterways.

The symposium will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Central Office Complex, 3363 W. Park Place, Room 104, during the regularly scheduled Marine Advisory Committee meeting. The symposium is open to the public and free to attend.

During the symposium, speakers from the Escambia County Marine Resources Division, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, United States Coast Guard, Escambia Search and Rescue, and Healthy Gulf will provide information and resources for boaters to safely navigate local waterways.
