Reminder: ECAT Seeking Public Input on Route Redesign

Published May 1, 2026

Escambia County is continuing to seek input on the Escambia County Area Transit fixed route redesign, which aims to improve ECAT's service, coverage and reliability.

The public is encouraged to provide feedback on the ECAT route redesign through an online survey, and explore the interactive virtual room to learn more. The survey deadline is Sunday, May 3.

ECAT is conducting a fixed route redesign of its transit network, which will look at how fixed-route buses, microtransit, and paratransit services work together to better connect residents to jobs, education, healthcare, and other important destinations.

As part of the route redesign process, ECAT is meeting with numerous community stakeholders to gather input directly. ECAT has also engaged with ECAT riders and stakeholders through several public events, including an ECAT Route Redesign Open House, Fred Levin Way Fest, and direct engagement with ECAT riders at ECAT transfer stations.
