West Quintette Road Closure Extended

Published Sep 25, 2025

A storm drain installation project underway along West Quintette Road has been extended, requiring a portion of West Quintette Road to remain closed to through traffic until construction is completed.

The project area includes a portion of West Quintette Road between Highway 95-A and Dukes Drive, along with a portion of Stacey Road. Work associated with the West Quintette Road detour is expected to be completed in early November, weather permitting. The project was delayed due to unforeseen conditions during construction, including utility conflicts and coordination.

Detours will remain in place along Highway 95-A and Quintette Lane during the construction period. Traffic lanes will be reopened on West Quintette Road upon completion of this phase of work in early November. Motorists traveling on West Quintette Road should use extra caution and follow posted detour signs when traveling around the work zone.

Residents, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles will have access to properties within the work area at all times; however, there may be short periods when a driveway or entrance may be blocked temporarily as equipment and materials are moved during construction.

The public's patience is appreciated as crews work diligently to complete this project as soon as possible. If other roadway closures are necessary or work is delayed, another notice will be issued.
