Florida-Alabama TPO to Hold Public Input Workshop June 24

The Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization will hold a public workshop Tuesday, June 24 at 2:30 p.m. at the Tryon Library, located at 1200 Langley Ave. 

The purpose of the workshop is to receive input from the public on the draft 2050 Long Range Transportation Cost Feasible Plan. The Long Range Transportation Plan is a blueprint for maintaining and enhancing the regional transportation system and identifies roadway, transit, bicycle and pedestrian, intelligent transportation systems, and other improvements needed over the next 25 years. The Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization is the local, intergovernmental transportation policy board for Escambia and Santa Rosa counties in Florida and Orange Beach and the community of Lillian in Alabama. The board is comprised of local government officials who make decisions regarding transportation at a regional level. Learn more at ecrc.org.
