The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners is seeking Escambia County residents interested in volunteering to be considered for an appointment on the Escambia County Marine Advisory Committee.

The Escambia County Marine Advisory Committee is charged to explore research, provide technical expertise and make recommendations to the BCC regarding the development, administration and preservation of the County’s marine resources. The ECMAC shall be composed of 11 voting members. Each Commissioner shall appoint two members who shall serve concurrently with the appointing Commissioner’s current term of office. The County Administrator shall appoint one member who shall serve a four-year term. All members of the ECMAC shall be electors of the County. The ECMAC shall establish a schedule of regular meetings, which shall be held at least monthly. Six members shall constitute a quorum.
