During this time, crews will be performing repairs to the guardrail and general maintenance to the eastbound lane of the bridge.
Traffic across the bridge will be restricted to one lane with flaggers while workers are present. Motorists traveling over the bridge should use extra caution and follow road crew instructions and posted signs when traveling through the work zone. The work is expected to be completed in approximately 45 days, weather permitting.
Residents, pedestrians, local traffic and emergency vehicles will have access to properties within the work area at all times; however, there may be short periods when a driveway or entrance may be blocked temporarily as equipment and materials are moved during construction.
If additional lane closures are necessary or work is delayed, another notice will be issued.
