The Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization is inviting public feedback on its 2025 Transportation Project Priorities—a list of proposed projects that aim to improve mobility, safety, and connectivity throughout the region. The TPO serves Escambia and Santa Rosa counties in Florida, as well as Orange Beach and the community of Lillian in Alabama. Each year, the priorities are submitted to the Florida Department of Transportation as part of the regional transportation planning process.

The public comment period is open now through Friday, April 25.

Explore the Project Priorities and Share Feedback

The virtual open house features an interactive project map, a list of proposed projects, and a link to the survey to gather input on how they should be prioritized based on community needs. Projects range from roadway improvements to safety enhancements, bike/pedestrian connections, and other regional priorities.

Public Workshop - In-Person or Online

  • Date: Wednesday, April 9
  • Time: 10:30 a.m.
  • Location: Pensacola Downtown Library, 239 N Spring St., Pensacola, FL 32502

This hybrid workshop offers an opportunity to ask questions, delve deeper into the projects, and engage directly with TPO staff.

To support participation across the region, a Project Priorities Toolkit is available with ready-to-share materials, including flyers, sample posts, and graphics. Community groups and organizations interested in accessing additional resources can contact [email protected] to request access to the Toolkit, which is designed to support outreach during the public comment period.

The Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) collaborates with local jurisdictions and transportation partners to update and prioritize transportation projects that best meet the region's needs. Public input ensures the process reflects the experiences and concerns of the people who use these transportation systems every day.

Whether your focus is on traffic flow, safety, or connectivity, your input helps shape how transportation projects are prioritized across the region.

The final list of 2025 Transportation Project Priorities will be approved by the TPO Board on Wednesday, May 14.
