Residents Encouraged to Monitor Potential Severe Weather This Weekend

Escambia County residents are encouraged to monitor the enhanced to moderate risk for severe weather expected to impact the county Saturday, March 15.

Multiple rounds of severe storms are expected Saturday through the evening, potentially extending into Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service of Mobile. All severe threats are possible, including strong tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail.

Residents are encouraged to remain weather aware and continue monitoring the forecast for updates. Ensure you have multiple ways to receive warnings and know your safe place ahead of time.
