Escambia County Fire Rescue hosted the 2025 ECFR Awards Ceremony at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 22. The ceremony served as a celebration of all achievements accomplished in 2024. Most notably, Escambia County Fire Rescue celebrated 25 years of service during the ceremony.
Emceed by ECFR's first fire chief, Chief Mike Slover, several medals, citations and certificates were distributed to several firefighters:

The following firefighters received the Medal of Courage for their heroic actions during a residential structure fire with entrapment off Deauville Way in Pensacola:
