The Pensacola Beach Lifeguards are launching the Pensacola Beach Surfing Warning Flag Text Alert notification system beginning Saturday, Dec. 14.

Utilizing the Everbridge Nixle Alerts mass notification system, citizens can receive daily text messages from the Pensacola Beach Lifeguards alerting them to the daily surf conditions at Pensacola Beach. If the surf warning flag color changes during the day, another text message will be sent updating the water conditions.
