Gulf Islands National Seashore Closes Ft. Pickens Ahead of Inclement Weather

Gulf Islands National Seashore will close Fort Pickens on Monday, Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. for incoming inclement weather.

Campers at the Fort Pickens Campground will need to evacuate by 4 p.m. The rest of the Florida District areas will remain open for day use.

Fort Pickens will remain closed until further notice. Park staff will assess conditions on Thursday, Nov. 21.
