Beach Access Point 25B Closed Sept. 20 for Derelict Vessel Removal

Published Sep 19, 2024

Pensacola Beach access point 25B will be closed Friday, Sept. 20, while crews work to remove a derelict vessel on the beach. Work will begin at 7 a.m. and is expected to be finished by sunset.

Beach access points 25A and 25C will remain open. Single lanes on Ariola Drive or Avenida 18 may be temporarily blocked at times as contractors unload and maneuver equipment.

All activities are weather-dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Please use caution and watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway. Residents and visitors are encouraged to maintain a minimum buffer of 100 feet between the vessel removal and themselves, or to avoid the area while work is taking place.
