Lane 3 at the Bob Sikes Toll Plaza is closed starting Tuesday, Feb. 20, while repair work is made to the building and toll-by-plate equipment. Motorists should use lanes 2 and 4 to access Pensacola Beach.
While lane 4 is typically used for emergency vehicles only, the toll-by-plate equipment is in place for motorists to use as needed while lane 3 is closed.
Motorists are encouraged to follow signage and heed traffic barricades and signage while proceeding through the toll facility in a safe manner, and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway. Another notice will be issued once lane 3 can safely reopen.
