Marine Resources to Host Diving Safety Seminar April 15

Escambia County Marine Resources will host a free diving safety seminar Saturday, April 15 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Central Office Complex, 3363 W. Park Place, room 104. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

During the seminar, attendees will learn about general diving safety tips, ways to increase survivability and the current state of medical resources for divers in the Northwest Florida panhandle. Speakers will also discuss the American College of Surgeons' STOP THE BLEED® program, a nationally recognized program educating people worldwide on how to stop bleeding in a severely injured person.
