Reminder: Escambia County Offices to Close for New Year's

In order to give staff time to spend with their families during New Year's, the following Escambia County offices will be closed on Dec. 30, 31, and Jan. 1 and 2.

Special Notes:

• The Escambia County Animal Welfare & Adoption Center will be open from 12-5 p.m. on Dec. 30. The center will be closed on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Animal control officers will be operating for emergencies only on Dec. 30 and Jan. 1.
• The Escambia County Tax Collector's office will be closing at 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 31.
• ECAT service will run until 5 p.m. on Dec. 31. No bus service is provided on Jan. 1. Visit here for a modified holiday ECAT schedule.
• The Clerk’s Official Records, Finance, Treasury and Clerk to the Board offices located at 221 Palafox Pl. will be closed on Dec. 30. All other offices will be open 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. All Clerk's offices will be closed Dec. 31.
• The Perdido Landfill is open on Dec. 30 and 31 from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. All landfill facilities are closed on Jan. 1.
