Escambia County Offices to Close for Christmas and New Year's

In order to give staff time to spend with their families during Christmas and New Year's, the following Escambia County offices will be closed on Dec. 23-26, 30, 31, and Jan. 1 and 2.

Special Notes:

• The Escambia County Animal Welfare & Adoption Center will be open from 12-5 p.m. on Dec. 23 and 30. The center will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1. Animal control officers will be operating for emergencies only from Dec. 23-25, Dec. 30 and Jan. 1.
• The Escambia County Tax Collector's office will be closing at 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 31.
• ECAT service will run until 5 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 31. No bus service is provided on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. Visit here for a modified holiday ECAT schedule.
• The Clerk’s Official Records, Finance, Treasury and Clerk to the Board offices located at 221 Palafox Pl. will be closed on Dec. 23 and 30. All other offices will be open 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. All Clerk's offices will be closed Dec. 24 and 31.
• The Perdido Landfill is open on Dec. 23, 30 and 31 from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Dec. 24 7 a.m.-2 p.m. All landfill facilities are closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
