Escambia County is pleased to recognize Ashley Harvey, an Administrative Public Records Supervisor in the Corrections Department, as the November Employee of the Month.
Ashley has worked with Escambia County since May 16, 2017. In her role, Ashley coordinates and administers the Records Management Program and supervises the inmate records staff. Her duties include prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, ensuring staff are trained and employees follow all policies and procedures. She also maintains a healthy and safe work environment for her staff and makes hiring, termination and disciplinary recommendations.
Earlier this year, on Sept. 21, Ashley received a Letter of Appreciation from the Assistant State Attorney Alvin "Trey" Myers Ill for providing essential testimony in the State of Florida vs. Gregory Wayne Clark. Myers praised her extreme cooperation with all requests and applauded her professional and proficient manner while testifying.
"Ashley conducts herself in a professional manner at all times," said Escambia County Corrections Director Chief Rich Powell. "She displays a positive attitude and is eager to assist with all requests made to the Public and Inmate Records Department. Ashley is an asset to the Escambia County Corrections Department and should be commended for her exemplary efforts and teamwork within the department."
The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners commends and congratulates Ms. Ashley Elizabeth Harvey on her selection as the "Employee of the Month" for November 2021.
