West Florida Public Libraries will host Roasts and Rhymes on Friday, Oct. 15 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Pensacola Library located at 239 N. Spring St. in downtown Pensacola.
Come share your original poetry, short stories and rhymes during this open mic-style event. This is a family-friendly event and West Florida Public Libraries asks that all content be appropriate for all ages.
A variety of coffees and infused waters will be available for tasting. A brief intermission will be held to allow attendees to network and mingle with fellow poets and writers. First-time to professional performers are welcome.
This will mark the first of many monthly open mic night events at the Pensacola Library, giving locals the chance to take the stage and show off their literary talents.
