Real Rural Tech Talk and 4-H Essay Competition Awards Friday, April 9

Due to potential weather conditions on Friday, “A Real Rural Tech Talk” and 4-H Essay Competition Awards will move indoors to Langley Bell 4-H Center located at 3730 Stefani Road, Cantonment, FL 32533

Join Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis, District 5 Escambia County Commissioner Steven Barry and North Florida thought leaders to explore the opportunities and challenges of broadband deployment, access and adoption during a roundtable discussion on Friday, April 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Escambia County's Langley Bell 4-H Center located at 3730 Stefani Road, Cantonment.


Additionally, Charter Communications will award the outstanding achievements of 4-H students across the state. The media is asked to RSVP to cmr@myescambia.com. The county plans to stream the event on Facebook. Charter Communications event protocol requires all guests to wear a mask. This event held by Charter Communications is in partnership with the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences 4-H Youth Development Program, Spectrum and Escambia County.
