REMINDER: Escambia County Seeks Public Input on Universal Access for County Parks, Barrier Islands

Escambia County invites the public to attend a virtual meeting discussing Project Universal Access, March 9 at 5:30 p.m. Natural Resources Management is seeking public input on universal access to the County's parks and public areas on the barrier islands.

"Escambia County is committed to providing access to our parks and public areas to people with disabilities," said Pensacola & Perdido Bays Estuary Program Senior Advisor Matt Posner. "Meetings like these are a great opportunity for the public to provide their feedback and input on how to ensure universal access best."

Presenters will provide information on steps taken to survey existing conditions on the islands, present public input on the topic and discuss potential future improvements.  Written questions and comments provided will be responded to during the meeting as well.

A sign language interpreter will be provided.
