Due to construction delays, Century Branch Library will be closed through Tuesday, March 2, reopening Wednesday, March 3. Century Branch Library has been closed in February for renovations.
Feeding the Gulf Coast youth meals will be available for the week each Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Library materials that have been reserved through the library’s website will also be available each Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The library will be inaccessible for any other services during this time.
In just a few weeks’ time the citizens of Escambia County will return to an enlarged children’s library, improved adult reading area, new furnishings, new carpet, new lighting and fresh new paint throughout.
Improvements are also being made outside the library including additional sidewalk, benches, bicycle repair station and several collaboration tables including an ADA accessible picnic table.
