Cove Avenue Lane Closure Scheduled to Begin Tuesday

Cove Avenue will experience lane closures beginning Tuesday, June 23. Construction will consist of new road construction along Nine Mile Road crossing Cove Avenue within the FDOT right of way.

Southbound traffic will be detoured from west Cove Avenue to West Nine and One Half Mile Road, south to Bowman Avenue, then back to Nine Mile Road. Northbound traffic will be detoured west along Nine Mile Road to Bowman Avenue, east onto West Nine and One Half Mile Road, back to Cove Avenue. 

The road closure is expected to remain in effect for seven days, and every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts in order to reopen the road on or before Tuesday, June 30.

If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time period, another notice will be issued.
