- On Thursday, April 23, Eric Gilmore, Escambia County Emergency Management Manager and Dr. John Lanza, Director of Florida Department of Health in Escambia County held a virtual meeting with the media to discuss COVID-19 data reporting. Watch the meeting here.
- As of 4 p.m. Thursday, April 23, Escambia County area hospitals reported 220 total ventilators with 178 available, and 1,315 total beds with 462 available.

As of 10:15 a.m., April 24, Escambia County has had 427 positive COVID-19 cases. This number is expected to change daily due to the return of results from ongoing testing. - The total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Escambia County residents is 11 individuals.
- As of 1 p.m., April 23, there are 143 cases among residents or staff in long term care facilities. The Florida Department of Health has published the list of facilities here.
