Ascension Sacred Heart COVID-19 Testing Sites
Schedule for week of April 20- April 24
- Wednesday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Thursday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (pending weather)
- Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Interested persons who want to get tested for COVID-19 must first call a designated call center for a phone screening. The number is 850-746-2684. The call center will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Friday.
Community Health Northwest Florida COVID-19 Testing Sites
In the interest of increasing access to testing, we are taking our COVID-19 testing services on the road.
Schedule for week of April 20- April 24
- Attucks Court - Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Morris Court, Sanchez Court - Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- The walk-up testing in these communities is open to the public with no pre-screening required.
Existing test locations in Brownsville and Cantonment:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Pre-screening is required for drive-through testing.
- Pre-screening is not required for walk-up testing.

Escambia County Community Transportation
ECCT is continuing to take every precaution to assure the safety of our passengers and employees:
- ECCT Paratransit subscription trips will continue to be pre-screened for COVID-19 and may be modified.
- For everyone’s safety, schedulers are booking passenger trips throughout the day on vehicles to accommodate social distancing. Vehicles are disinfected and cleaned frequently.
- For the safety of our riders and drivers, we are asking riders to help by wearing a protective cloth face covering, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, when you find it necessary to use ECCT Paratransit. Drivers have been instructed to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
- ECCT Paratransit will continue to operate service for essential travel to help eliminate the spread of COVID-19. ECCT drivers will not be entering businesses, medical clinics and other facilities to pick up paratransit riders. Please be ready outside or at the door when the vehicle arrives.
- Please always cover your coughs and sneezes, keep your hands washed and make sure your mobility aid is sanitized and free of excess baggage.

As of 3 p.m., April 21, Escambia County has had 337 positive COVID-19 cases. This number is expected to change daily due to the return of results from ongoing testing. For the most up-to-date information regarding confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Florida, visit the COVID-19 dashboard. The site is currently updated twice daily.
- The total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Escambia County residents is 9 individuals.
- As of 1 p.m., April 21, there are 71 cases among residents or staff in long term care facilities. The Florida Department of Health has published the list of facilities here.
- To view demographics of cases in Escambia County, visit the COVID-19 dashboard and select Escambia County. The following case data will appear: age, gender, race, and ethnicity.
- Florida residents are encouraged to do their part in helping Florida flatten the curve by anonymously answering questions that range from age and residency, to recent travel, to potential COVID-19 contact.
