Escambia County Welcomes Two New Assistant County Administrators

Escambia County is pleased to welcome two new Assistant County Administrators: Debbie Bowers and Wesley Hall.

Debbie Bowers, Assistant County Administrator
Bowers brings 30 years of experience in contracts, negotiations, management and real estate practices to Escambia County. She was the chief commercial officer for the City of Los Angeles, LAX Airport. Bowers also served as assistant to the county administrator, assigned to aviation department, deputy port director and real property director for Broward County in Ft. Lauderdale.  

Bowers earned her juris doctor’s degree at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. She received her master’s degree in business from Florida Atlantic University and her bachelor’s degree in science from University of South Alabama. Bowers is an Escambia County native. She will start the week of April 6 with the county.

Wesley Hall, Assistant County Administrator
Most recently, Hall served as interim county administrator in Gadsden County. He previously served as an assistant county administrator with planning, organizing, directing and managing Gadsden County. Previously, he was director of the revenue office for the City of Tallahassee, an owner/operator of multiple McDonalds in Alabama, director of sales for The Florida Lottery, deputy director for the Florida Department of Labor Office of supplier diversity and economic development analyst for the Florida Department of Commerce.

Hall earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Florida A&M University. Hall will begin with the county on May 4.
