Pruning and Dividing Ornamental Grasses

Join UF IFAS Extension Escambia County Master Gardener volunteers for a session on ornamental grasses. Topics will include: When and how to prune ornamental grasses and choosing the best grasses for our area. Program is free.

Backyard Wildlife Habitats

Presented by the UF IFAS Extension Escambia County Master Gardener Volunteers. Spaces are becoming limited for much of our wildlife. Create a spot through attractive landscaping for a wide variety of animals to find food, shelter, and water. Florida Master Naturalist Program - The Wetlands Course
- Every Tuesday Starting March 31 - May 12, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Florida Master Naturalist Program students will increase their knowledge of Florida’s natural systems, of the plants and animals that depend upon those systems, and the role of humankind in shaping our past, of determining our future, and as stewards of the land. UF/IFAS Extension Escambia County will be hosting the 3rd annual Beef Cattle & Forage Bootcamp
- Saturday, March 7, 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., Escambia County 4-H Livestock Facility, 5701 Hwy 99, Molino
The beef cattle bootcamp is a hands-on learning opportunity for producers in the areas of cattle handling, management, nutrition & forages. We will also have producers and Extension specialist on hand for you to visit with.

Registration fees for the Beef Cattle Boot Camp:
$10/person, $15/couple. Free for 4-H & FFA Youth. Registration fees will be paid on-site the day of event.
