Chipley– Work on a $1.9 million bridge project on County Road 168 over Unnamed Branch in Northwest Century is complete and scheduled to open to traffic Friday, Jan. 31, weather permitting. Crews will also begin removing the temporary acrow bridge.
Improvements consist of two, twelve-foot travel lanes with six-foot shoulders and a concrete barrier wall. The project also included resurfacing the bridge approaches, new guardrail, drainage improvements, new pavement markings, and enhanced signage. Drivers are reminded to use caution and watch for workers and heavy trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
