Littleton Street Closure Extended Through Monday

The Littleton Street closure scheduled to end Tuesday, Jan. 14 has been extended through Monday, Jan. 20. 

A portion of Littleton Street on the north side of 9 Mile Road will be closed to through traffic. Traffic heading south will be detoured west to Oldenburg Boulevard and then south to Milestone Boulevard, back to 9 Mile Road. Traffic heading north along Littleton Street will be detoured west along 9 Mile Road to Milestone Boulevard, then east on Oldenburg Boulevard back to Littleton Street.
 
Intermittent lane closures on Littleton Street are necessary to install new stormwater drainage and for road construction along 9 Mile Road crossing Littleton Street within the FDOT right of way.

The roadway closure is expected to remain in effect for seven days and every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts to reopen the road on or before Jan. 20, not inclusive of inclement weather or foreseen conditions that may be encountered during these time frames.

If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time period, another notice will be issued.
