Below is a listing of Escambia County offices and departments closed Tuesday, Dec. 24, Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1 in observance of Christmas and New Year's holidays.
- Escambia County Board of County Commissioners - All departments, including:
- West Florida Public Libraries (All locations - normal hours will resume Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2)
- The Escambia County Animal Shelter
- Escambia County Property Appraiser
- Escambia County Tax Collector
- Escambia County Supervisor of Elections
- Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller's office
Exceptions:
- ECAT buses will not operate Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1. Buses will operate on a modified holiday schedule Thursday, Dec. 26 and Tuesday, Dec. 31. There will be no UWF Trolley or Express Shuttle service from Friday, Dec. 13 to Friday, Jan. 3. UWF service will resume Monday, Jan. 6. For more information about ECAT schedules visit goecat.com.
- The Perdido Landfill will be open Tuesday, Dec. 24, but will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.
