Escambia County Master Gardener Program to Host Fall Events

Community Plant Clinic

  • Saturday, Oct. 12, 9-11 a.m., Greater Mount Lily Baptist Church, 619 E. Gadsden St., Pensacola 

A community plant clinic will be held in conjunction with the Greater Mount Lilly Baptist Church at 619 E. Gadsden St. Bring your questions and landscape problems to discuss with a Master Gardener Program volunteer. There will be information and visual displays related to preparing the landscape for the winter, winter greens and preparing for cool season planting.

Garden to Table Exposition

  • Saturday, Oct. 26, 8 a.m. to noon, Extension Services office,3740 Stefani Road, Cantonment 

The event will include information and demonstrations on bringing the autumn harvest to the table. Additional information and demonstrations will be provided by the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority, the EscaRosa Beekeepers, The Ever’man Cooperative and local poultry expert J. E. Blum.

Indoor Rummage Sale

  • Saturday, Nov. 9, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Extension Services office, 3730 Stefani Road, Cantonment 

Nov. 9, 2019 – an indoor rummage sale will be conducted at the Extension Center 4-H Building, 3740 Stefani Road from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. Donations will be accepted on Thursday Nov. 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, Nov. 8 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Seasonal Poinsettia Sale

  • Ongoing through Friday, Nov. 1
