All community centers will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2 in observance of Labor Day.

Ashton Brosnaham Park

Quintette Community Center

WESCO Senior Center
 
  • Neighborhood Watch Program: Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Dollar Bag Sale: Thursday, Sept. 19 at 8:30-11 a.m.
  • Monthly Board Meeting: Thursday, Sept. 12 at 1:30 p.m.
  • Monthly Luncheon: Saturday, Sept. 14
  • Senior Night Out: First, third and fourth Fridays of each month from 6-9 p.m. Members and guests. Free coffee, dancing, fellowship and entertainment by Curtis Hall and others. The fourth Friday is Southern Star Band. Attendees may bring a snack to share with others.
Weekly Activities
  • Chair Exercise: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:30-9 a.m. Members only.
  • Bunco Games: Mondays and Fridays at 9:30-11 a.m. $2 suggested donation for members; $3 for nonmembers. Donations go toward door prizes for the winners.
  • Tai Chi Classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9-10 a.m. Free to all nonmembers; $3 suggested donation from nonmembers to participate.
  • Hand and Foot Card Games: Tuesdays at 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Members only.
  • Senior Bingo Day: Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. Open to members and nonmembers.
  • Pinochle Card Games: Wednesdays at 12:15-3:30 p.m. Members only.
  • Bridge Card Games: Wednesdays at 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Members only.
  • Line Dance Class: Thursdays from noon to 1:30 p.m. Beginners class is from noon to 12:30 p.m. and regular class is from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Free for members; $3 donation requested for nonmembers. No line dance class on Thursday, Sept. 19. Class will resume on Thursday, Sept. 26.
  • Mexican Train Games: Fridays at 12:15-3:30 p.m.
