Cove Avenue will experience lane closures beginning Tuesday, July 9. Construction will consist of the installation of a new stormwater drainage system along Nine Mile Road within the FDOT right of way.
Southbound traffic will be detoured from Cove Avenue to West Nine and One Half Mile Road east to Fowler Avenue, south to Nine Mile Road, and then west onto Cove Avenue. Northbound traffic will be detoured east along Nine Mile Road to Fowler Avenue, north to West Nine and One Half Mile Road, and then west onto Cove Avenue.
The road closure is expected to remain in effect for five days, and every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts in order to reopen the road on or before Sunday, July 14.
If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time period, another notice will be issued.
