Chipley–
Work activities are scheduled to begin Wednesday, June 12 on U.S. 29 within the Cantonment area. The $8.7 million transportation project will include resurfacing the roadway from south of Muscogee Road (County Road 184) to Atmore Highway (State Road 97), turn lane construction, access management modifications, signalization, pedestrian feature upgrades, guardrail, new signage, and pavement markings.

Motorists will encounter intermittent lane restrictions during construction. The project is anticipated to be complete summer 2020.

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling in a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
